    As I read about the two articles on critical reading and techniques, I learned about the way I should undertake my reading of text for study, or any tasks assigned to  active reading. From the information I gathered it is more about the understanding of the text that memorising an article without comprehension of the topic.   It is about understanding the text to  be able to assess and evaluate its relevance t ailoring it t o your needs .  One of the techniques of active reading is to do just that then read again  to  engage with the content actively and critically .
