                                                 Identity Representation and Media                                            Our group project comes into the broad title of Identity Representation and Media.   Identity is important, from the time that you are born to the day you leave this planet. It gives the person a sense of belonging or not fitting in. In all the strata of society, there are codes or rules that one belongs to. If the person does not fit in those, it will have to find its own. Being allowed to have a sense of identity enables people to make their own stand and make a statement as an individual, therefore enabling a sense of importance and well-being. People need to learn how they have done in order to reassess themselves, review, correct and refine their work. Traditionally this process was handed down from their superiors, in the form of a “downwards feedback” communication system. The “Upwards feedback” has changed this process to provide a more useful and fruitful relationship based more on aspiration, mutual communication between the different parties involved.                                                            Media Literacy   What  I  found  the most interesting in the 3 written articles about digital Media  literacy was the fact that it is essential to know the source of your facts when putting them out there  for people to read. Whether they are facts or opinions. To avoid  controversy,  you  must  be able to cite you r sources.
